Firefighting as a Career

We are excited to announce the launch of WAFirecareers.org in collaboration with our neighboring agencies. WA Fire Careers is a joint recruitment effort that offers applicants the opportunity to take one exam for consideration by six agencies with one affordable fee. The agencies (in addition to Puget Sound Fire) participating in the January 2022 Recruit Academy 13 are King County Fire District 2, King County Sheriff Office ARFF Team – Boeing Field, Renton Regional Fire Authority and Mountain View Fire & Rescue.

Applicants interested in testing for a career as a firefighter with the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority must complete register at WAFirecareers.org.
