Human Resources

Human Resources is overseen by the Human Resource Director and is comprised of a Human Resource Manager, Human Resource Analysts, a Human Resource Coordinator, and an HRIS Analyst.

As of August 2024, Puget Sound Fire employs a total of 489 employees – 372 uniformed personnel, 18 nurses/social workers, 24 mechanics, and 75 non-uniform support personnel and 16 volunteers. The Human Resource team facilitates a supportive work environment with Puget Sound Fire’s mission, vision, core values and culture. We are committed to implementing effective Human Resource programs and being knowledgeable and helpful to those seeking assistance in making Puget Sound Fire a positive and efficient work environment.
