Puget Sound Fire’s top priority is ensuring the health and safety of our staff and the communities that we serve. Following recommendations from King County Public Health, and out of an abundance of caution, Puget Sound Fire is taking proactive and preventative steps to address concerns over COVID-19 exposures or potential exposures. We will continually re-evaluate these measures following updated information from KC Public Health, KC EMS, and the CDC.

Effective March 10, Puget Sound Fire is suspending public education events, ride alongs, CPR/First Aid classes, station tours, and the use of meeting rooms by the public until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation and determine if additional cancellations are necessary.

Our staff remains committed to providing the support services needed to assist our community and are taking appropriate measures. The first responders are providing emergency services per normal with no interruption.
