Administration Office

The Administration Office/Fire Headquarters building is located at 24611 116th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98030. This location is also home to Fire Station 74 and a fire training drill field. Day to day operations are overseen by the Fire Chief and Assistant Chief of Operations. The following divisions are also located in the Administration Office:

Human Resources

Your Puget Sound RFA Human Resource Division consists of a Human Resource Manager, (2) Human Resource Specialists, (1) Records Specialist, (1) Admin II, and (1) Receptionist.

Puget Sound RFA employs a total of 326 employees, comprised of 258 uniformed personnel, 7 nurses, 16 mechanics, and 45 non-uniform support personnel. The HR team facilitates a supportive work environment with the RFA’s mission, vision, core values and culture. We are committed to implementing effective HR programs and to be knowledgeable and helpful to those seeking assistance in making Puget Sound RFA a positive and efficient work environment.

Community Relations

Building community trust and connecting our organization to the communities we serve is a never-ending goal for us here at Puget Sound. We are excited to announce the creation of the Community Relations Division, effective April 2019!  This new function in the department will be focused on identifying and creating new opportunities for the communities we serve to know and trust us. In addition, it will provide governmental relations liaison and organizational communications. This new division is comprised of a Division Chief and our Public Information Officer (PIO).
