Description
Downtown Kent station, originally built and dedicated in 1965 as the Headquarters Fire Station. The station was first remodeled in 1971 and again in 1974 and finally 1986. It has a 5 story hose tower in back that was built in 1976.
Station 71 is the water rescue station with equipment to support the Surface and Swift Water Technician programs.
