CPR/AED/First Aid Classes

Program Overview

Classes range from four to eight hours and provide certification level training on what to do during a medical emergency. Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) training is included in the Adult CPR class.

Class Details

  • A written exam and practical test will be given.
  • American Heart Association Heartsaver Adult CPR.
  • This class is intended for non-medical profession persons.
  • This class will teach you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking.
  • You will receive a certification card.

Class Cost

  • Heartsaver Adult CPR with AED – $30
  • Heartsaver Adult CPR with AED and First Aid – $60

 

Registration Information

Please register for classes at the Fire Administration office located at: 24611 116 Ave SE, Kent, WA 98030.

Payment Information

  • Drop-ins are not accepted on the day of class.
  • Payment may be made by cash, check, or money order. Checks should be made out to the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority.
  • Payment must be received at the time of registration (cost for class).
  • Register early due to limited space in each class.
  • Puget Sound Fire does not accept debit or credit cards.

 

Criteria for Private Classes

CPR/AED Classes
We charge $30.00 per person, with a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 14 attendees. The class is approximately four hours in length.

Combination CPR/AED/First Aid Classes

We charge $60.00 per person, with a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 14 attendees. The class is approximately eight hours in length.

Certificates are issued upon completion of the class.

Scheduling Classes
When the class is scheduled, we will request billing information. Your business will be invoiced after completion of the class. Checks may be made out to Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority.

Businesses are required to have ample space to conduct the class as well as a suitable size TV/VCR or TV/DVD for use by the instructor.

We will be working with our roster of CPR instructors to find a mutually acceptable date and time for your class, so please be prepared by having an alternative date in mind.
