Benefit Charge Information

Each year in mid-January, Puget Sound Fire mails a notice of taxes and benefit charge (BC) to property owners in our response area. This notice is not a bill; its intent is to provide information to taxpayers to help fulfill our promise of open and fair governance. We feel it is important for you to know your share of costs to maintain around-the-clock fire and emergency medical protection at your home or business property. Annual fire charges continue to be billed and collected through King County with your property taxes.
